SeaChange TreeChange

Ann Lindner - Friday, March 17, 2023
Did you know during 2020-2021 the population of regional Queensland grew by 24,100?
Demographer Bernard Salt predicts sea and tree change could mark one of the big social shifts of 2020's. “This is going to have a profound impact on the shape of our cities, the demand for services and the value of commercial property” says Salt “It has the potential to be a game changer.” Salt  forecasts that the number of people working from home will double or triple and that within 20 years cities will be compartmentalised into fully service mini cities and regional hubs precipitating a shift in property values.
