Since the opening of the new Kawana Public hospital there has been an exodus of workers from the Nambour hospital.
This along with notice the the council is going to move its premises from Nambour to the new Maroochydore CBD has locals worried what large employers will be left to help the economy.
The great news is that Sundale has announced it will demolish the oldest sections of the Namour site and rebuild 74 unit apartments and village heart incorporating coffee shops, medical centres and rehabilitation facility that would be open to the public.
